Learn how to use these and other ingredients from the souk to dye local, hand spun wool using eco friendly methods.

Inspired by traditional African resist techniques you will learn how to use everyday household materials and simple methods to create patterns on a cotton scarf which you will dye with indigo.

Experiment with various resist techniques including stitching and binding to make a unique indigo dyed scarf inspired by African textiles.

Create your own beautiful hand woven textile using the locally hand spun wool dyed with plant dyes and other up cycled materials.
